Badging Opportunities
Participants of the program have the opportunity to earn up to two digital badges -- History and Health: Racial Equity and History and Health: Equitable Access to Care. Badges demonstrate a foundational level of knowledge and can be used in email signatures, resumes, and social media sites such as LinkedIn.
Each badge only takes 4 to 5 hours. To earn a badge, learners must:
- Complete a minimum of four History and Health learning opportunities, which can be any combination of attendance at events and completion of self-paced online learning modules. A Foundational level digital badge is available for each of our series including History and Health: Racial Equity and History and Health: Equitable Access to Care.
- Learners who complete online learning modules must submit the Reflection Activity, which includes a form with basic biographical information (e.g., name, department) and a response to one of three prompts. Your response must be a minimum of 250 words.
Please note: it may take a few weeks to receive notification of badge status. Additional details are available here.
